Hunger
I have been sick for a few days with the flu…ack! But meanwhile Kathleen Flenniken has posted my poem, “Hunger,” at her Washington State Poet Laureate blog, The Far Field. It’s a wonderful site.

I’m sorry to hear you’ve been sick. I like the poem. Here in Wyoming, we say “kai o tee” with emphasis on the second syllable.
I’m feeling better. Back to work today (and keeping the ky-otes and kai o tees away from the door).
