This was so meaningful to me today. She was speaking to precisely the kind of artist’s despair I was feeling. That sense of isolation. And he experience of connection when the book actually went out into the world. Very scary. Truly a leap off a cliff. Thank you for this.
The piece that struck me was the need read one’s failings and improve on them. I keep plugging away.
